Look Up Holbrook Court Dockets

Start by figuring out which Holbrook court holds the case. A Holbrook court docket search can land you in a city court, a county precinct court, or Navajo County Superior Court. Holbrook is the county seat, yet no single clerk holds every file. The municipal court handles city matters, Precinct I handles county limited cases, and the Clerk of Superior Court keeps the higher-level records. Match the court name and the full case or citation number first. Then use the official channel that court offers, whether a case-information portal, a calendar, the counter, a phone call, or a written request. When dates change, the newest court notice controls.

Holbrook Court Docket Has Three Clerks

Holbrook is the county seat. The court names sit close together, but custody stays divided. Holbrook Municipal Court holds cases charged under city authority. Holbrook Justice Court, Precinct I, keeps the county traffic, DUI, misdemeanor, protective-order, eviction, small-claims, and limited civil records. Superior Court cases in Navajo County rest with the Clerk of Superior Court.

Sharing a zip code does not merge these files. Each court can run its own case-number sequence. A citation needs a court name attached. A municipal disposition comes only from the city clerk, a Precinct I disposition from the Justice Court clerk, and a Superior Court certification from the elected Clerk's office.

The Holbrook Municipal Court

The current official inventory confirms Holbrook Municipal Court. The city publishes no standalone procedure page. The statewide tools, Public Access and AZCourtPay, help only when they support the city matter. For the authoritative file and current instructions, rely on the municipal clerk. Skip any portal field, hour, or fee the court has not published itself.

Arizona Public Access excludes local-ordinance charges. So a blank statewide search can still mean a Holbrook city case exists. Use the contact route printed on the citation. Precinct I sits in Holbrook too. It is not a substitute for the municipal clerk.

Holbrook Precinct I Court Records

Holbrook Justice Court sits at 121 West Buffalo, Holbrook, Arizona 86025, with mail to P.O. Box 366. Call 928-524-4720. Fax 928-524-4725. Expect the counter on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The precinct serves Holbrook, Joseph City, Perkins Valley, Woodruff, Sunday Valley, Adamana, and listed Navajo Nation communities. Those communities include Indian Wells, Greasewood, White Cone, and Jeddito.

That wide reach means city limits cannot tell you the court. A county citation tied to any of those places may still belong to Precinct I. The clerk can confirm the current setting. The clerk can also say what record you can access. Give the full identifier. State whether you want the case history, a filed order, or a certified disposition.

Local clue: “Holbrook” may describe the city, the precinct, or the county seat. The actual court label decides the file route.

Holbrook Court Dates and Settings

A Holbrook setting can appear on a city notice, a Precinct I citation, or a Superior Court case history. It can also appear on a division calendar. Navajo County posts separate Superior Court PDFs for four divisions. The Commissioner or Pro Tem and a visiting judge have separate PDFs as well. Pick your assigned division. Search that PDF by case number. Never assume every county-seat hearing shows up in one list.

Continuances leave history behind. Compare the newest court-issued notice, minute entry, or order against the current calendar. If two sources disagree, call the clerk or division before you appear.

CourtroomThe municipal, Precinct I, or Superior Court location.

Holbrook Court Docket at Code Talkers Drive

The Superior Court records hub sits at 100 East Code Talkers Drive, Holbrook, Arizona 86025. It sits inside the Navajo County Governmental Complex. Reach the Clerk at 928-524-4188. Fax 928-524-4261. Hours are weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding published holidays. Mail goes to P.O. Box 668, Holbrook, Arizona 86025.

The Clerk takes the current records form several ways. Send it by email at navajorecords@courts.az.gov, by mail, by fax, or at the Holbrook counter. This office keeps Superior Court records, not every city and Justice Court file. Identify the case court before sending the form. Precinct I and Municipal Court requests go to their own clerks.

The county-seat counter matters most for older Superior Court material. The published form still carries a research or microfiche option. That is a sign that online coverage and official custody are different things. The Clerk prepares minute entries. It preserves filings and exhibits. The office records court actions and provides access to the Superior Court file. A division calendar and a case history work as finding aids. The Holbrook Clerk remains the source for a certified Superior record. The complex main line is 928-524-4000, but record questions should go through the Clerk's published records route.

Holbrook Traffic Tickets

A Holbrook traffic ticket can land in either of two places. It may be a municipal case or a Precinct I Justice Court case. The court box on the citation tells you which. AZCourtPay handles payment for supported matters. Pay by notice, case, or citation number. It does not show the whole docket. Call the clerk for the current court date and your response options.

Paying a ticket usually counts the same as a guilty plea. So decide before you send money. If you want to fight the charge, follow the instructions on the citation first. Defensive driving school is another route. It depends on the charge, any prior attendance, court approval, and finishing on time. The state fee table effective April 1, 2026 has the numbers. It shows $169 plus the school fee for Holbrook Justice Court. The Holbrook Municipal row lists a $100 court fee, $24 state fee, and $45 surcharge. Yet it shows a $119 subtotal that does not add up. That inconsistency comes from the table itself. Confirm the real total with the municipal court before paying.

Skipping your court date is one violation. Skipping payment is another. The consequences differ. For how traffic cases are routed today, see Navajo County traffic court records.

Holbrook Minute Entry or Disposition

The words look alike, but the records are not. A Superior Court minute entry records what happened at a proceeding. A municipal or Justice Court disposition is different. It records how that court resolved the case in its own file. If you need official proof, name the exact order or disposition you want. Then ask the court that entered it about certification.

A portal case history only lists events. It may show that an order was filed without giving you the order itself. Arizona eAccess does provide document images. Eligible Superior Court civil and criminal cases qualify, within its account, fee, and restriction rules. It holds no municipal or Precinct I documents.

Minute entry
The Superior Court Clerk’s written record of courtroom action.
Disposition
The stated outcome of the case or charge.
Certification
The clerk’s authentication of a copy for official use.

Where Holbrook Cases End Up

Most city and Precinct I cases stay put. They begin and end in the same court. An appeal from either limited court, though, can open a new Superior Court record. Felony charges start at Superior Court. So do large civil matters, family, probate, mental-health, and juvenile cases. When an appeal or transfer is docketed, write down both case numbers, old and new.

The flow chart shows one route, not a promise that every city case moves. The original clerk keeps the local source file either way. For a full Superior Court and county search sequence, use the Navajo County court docket overview.

Holbrook Court Records on Microfiche

A case missing from eAccess may still exist in Clerk custody. eAccess covers eligible Superior Court civil and criminal cases filed on or after July 1, 2010. That is the program's own statement. Navajo's request form lists a separate research service, including microfiche, at $35. That older-record channel matters. The online start date is not a destruction date for prior filings.

Copies from the Superior Court Clerk run 50 cents per page under the current form. Paper certification is $35 per document plus copies. An emailed case-file link also costs $35. Ordinary copies sent by email carry no added delivery charge. Municipal Court and Precinct I set their own record terms. Ask them rather than applying this fee menu.

Precision pays when ordering. A hearing copy on disc costs $35. Authentication runs $105 per document plus copies, and exemplification is $70 per document plus copies. Mail or fax delivery adds $8, while email or pickup adds nothing. The form publishes no fixed turnaround time. Ask the Records Department instead of guessing how many days a request will take.

Public Access to Holbrook Court Records

Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 governs who can see judicial records. Public access still has gaps. Sealed matters are excluded. So are orders of protection, mental-health and probate cases, victim or witness information, and juvenile delinquency or incorrigibility files. City local-ordinance charges may not appear in the statewide index either. So a missing Holbrook hit proves nothing. It does not mean the record never existed.

Key Rules:

Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 governs judicial-record access and confidentiality.

A.R.S. § 39-121 supplies Arizona’s general inspection principle.

A.R.S. § 8-208 controls access to covered juvenile records.

Each office holds its own files. Ask the municipal clerk for the city file, Precinct I for Justice Court records, and the Superior Court Clerk for the county trial-court file.

Holbrook Court Docket Population Context

Holbrook counted 4,858 residents in the 2020 Census. That figure is not a court caseload. It is civic context, and useful context at that. This small county seat hosts municipal, precinct, and Superior Court record routes whose reach runs well past the city's population.

That mix explains why custody can confuse people. The county seat works as a records hub. Yet no single clerk holds every Holbrook court docket. Precinct I reaches into nearby communities and listed Navajo Nation areas, a regional role the city population alone cannot show.
